Dark Shield version 0.4.0 just went live! I worked on getting character augmentations implemented. The chop shop is available from the roster screen and - given enough funds you can have whatever cyberware you want! But watch out: the operation is painful and the more cyberwarez you put into your body, the more of your life essence is used up.  It can be a steep price to pay but in return you can get stronger, smarter or withstand a lot more punishment without going down! 

The Chop Shop offers three different categories: head ware, body ware and bio ware. Head ware includes specifically cyber eyes and their upgrades/add-ons. Body ware includes installations targeted towards either the body or the skeleton, such as dermal armor, stronger bones, artificial muscles and others. Bio Ware on the other hand is for implants of biological nature. Those are generally more expensive but cost less essence.  

The Chop Shop is one of many such institutions in Berlin and has clients all over the city,  so products on sale might differ every time you visit as well as their quality grades in which they are available. If you're on a budget, maybe it's better to stick with second hand warez, however, their price in life essence can be steep. If you're lucky and you have the funds, Delta ware is the way to go: least amount of wear and tear, easy to put in and reliable. 

Apart from the cyberwares, I also re-added the briefing screen as I noticed that without it the story even for The Lair would be missing and essentially the goal of the game is unclear. Lots of smaller bug fixes and improvements went into this release as well.
